Soloist class instruments
The instruments in my 'soloist class' are often played by internationally performing soloists, concertmasters and members of renowned orchestras. They have a tonal authority, a volume and a projection that allows them to stand up effortlessly against a large orchestra.
My work as a master craftsman and researcher is expressed in the meticulous selection of exceptional woods, the development of models with strong character, the decades-long research into wood and its resonances, the passionate tonal work and, last but not least, in the secret of varnish with historical pigments and recipes.
My customers and critics regularly testify that the instruments in my 'top class' are on a par with the best old Italian instruments in terms of sound quality and are superior in terms of sound volume. We would be pleased if you got to know our current instruments during your visit to the workshop.

Concert class instruments
I make the 'concert class' violins, violas and cellos with my highly qualified employees from select tonewoods. These instruments have a particularly fine and modulated tone. The timbre ranges from a warm tone in depth to a brilliant and radiant treble. Each instrument in the concert class has its own “personality”.
Violins and violas in the concert class start at Euro 16,000 including VAT. Violoncellos in the concert class are priced at Euro 24,000 including VAT.
Academy class instruments
Under my careful supervision, the construction of these instruments is carried out 'sub disciplina' by my employees. High-quality materials are used throughout. Here too, the perfection through acoustic fine work, sound adjustment and hand painting is mainly done by my hand. The Academy class instruments are characterized above all by their good response and warm timbre. They are suitable as professional orchestral instruments and for chamber music use. Because of their effortless playability, they are also suitable for learners.
Violins and violas of the Academy class are priced at Euro 8,000 including VAT. Violoncellos of the Academy class are priced at Euro 12,000 including VAT.
