Those who find their way to me are not simply looking for an instrument, but for a musical personality that will accompany them throughout their life. This is why I invite musicians to a personal meeting in the concert room of my workshop house.
Each instrument is an individual creation of sound that demands my full devotion. From selecting the wood in the high mountain forests to the final polishing of the varnish, hundreds of hours go into works that are truly unique. This dedication naturally limits the number of instruments my team and I can complete each year in the quiet of the workshop.
For this reason, personal and appreciative contact with my clients is especially important to me. A new instrument is always a dialogue — with your musical vision, your way of playing, your ideal of sound.
A certain waiting period must be expected; it may span months or years. Yet it is individual: urgency, artistic circumstances, and the tonal harmony between player and instrument all play a role. Those who seek an instrument from my hand understand that a work of this nature follows its own rhythm.
Most instruments in my workshop are already spoken for. Nevertheless, exceptional violins, violas, and cellos are available on which you can directly experience the tonal depth, artistic signature, and craftsmanship of my work.
For those who embark on this path, a door opens to an instrument that is not merely built, but created for them.
