Cello Opus 317

Cello by Martin Schleske Opus 317 anno 2020.

Description: The cello ("A volcano - with its mighty sound!") is owned by the family (Freiburg / Brsg.). The solo instrument has an exceptionally flamed back plate wood and a fine-grained northern Italian top plate wood with a strong sound. The varnish is a fine amber varnish with a recipe from the 17th century. We made the honey-gold-reddish pigment from madder root using our own process.
